Gathering Dust

Well, that does it. I'm putting it back on my mantle for another year. Dearing's got no traction. Loving isn't in a particularly interesting procedural posture (Dubay or not Dubay). No matter what your Metro map says, Judiciary Square is the last stop again this year.

You and your cow may be waiting a long time. The cases that the Court passed on this past term suggest that, unless the C.A.A.F. asserts jurisdiction over civil litigation pursuant to the Soldier's and Sailor's Civil Relief Act, the Supreme Court will not interfere.

Actually, Guert, that's what I expect next. The CAAF's historical tendency toward self-aggrandizement frequently has caused it to have an overexpanisve (in my view) sense of its own jurisdictional powers.
