Professor Hansen on United States v. Ali

NIMJ's web site notes this Jurist commentary by Professor Vic Hansen about United States v. Ali, the potential court-martial case of a civilian contractor in Iraq.

Professor Hansen, who goes "way back" with No Man and CAAFlog to his days as LTC Hansen, hits on the same point that we mentioned here on CAAFlog a few days ago, what effect will UCMJ jurisdiction have on the status of the law of war designations and responsibilities of servicemembers, commanders, and contractors? Prof. Hansen notes the potential change in commanders' responsibility. All good questions.
