Exciting news: Cox Commission II schedules public hearing
NIMJ has issued this announcement that the second Cox Commission will hold a public hearing on 16 June 2009 at the George Washington University Law School in D.C. This is exciting news indeed. Cox Commission II will fill a serious void in the lack of Congressional oversight on America's military justice system.
I wonder if NIMJ can set up a live webcast of the hearing for those of us outside the States? Or alternatively make a transcript available on NIMJ's Cox Commission webpage? Also with modern technology and Skype will practioners or citizens outside the States have the ability to appear via the internet? Any NIMJ board members, officers or staff in the know?
