Martinez case will likely go to the members tomorrow

The Fayetteville Observer reports that this morning, the military judge and the parties in the Martinez capital court-martial hashed out instructions.

WRAL reports that today the defense also presented seven witnesses in surrebuttal -- three in person and four by telephone. Proceedings adjourned at 1501. They will resume tomorrow morning for closing arguments, followed by the members' deliberations.

There will be no court sessions this Friday or next week because the military judge will be presiding over a military commission case at Guantanamo Bay.
