Denedo watch
The Supremes have extended Denedo's counsel's period for responding to the Acting S.G.'s cert petition until 27 October 2008. United States v. Denedo, No. 08-267.

Any word on who represents Denedo?
I believe Matt Freedus, of Feldesman, Tucker, Leifer, Fidell, filed the extension with SCOTUS. I don't believe military counsel is mentioned in the pleading.
