More Iraqi Civilian Deaths Lead to Courts-Martial

At least one news outlet, here, is reporting that another Marine has been charged with voluntary manslaughter in the deaths of two Iraqi civilians. The accused, a Marine sniper, is represented by Gary Myers. Seems Mr. Myers' work on the Haditha cases has landed him in a small circle of counsel in these types of cases.

Also, the court-martial of Lt Col Chessani, the officer charged in the Haditha killings with allegedly gumming up the investigation, appears to be stalled with a decision on a UCI motion coming next week. For some pretty bad reporting on the case, see here.
